The Legacy, created by Nicholas Perdomo III in honor of his father, is the first cigar ever to feature Nicaraguan Shade Grown tobacco – a new Cuban-seed/Cameroon-seed hybrid developed by Perdomo and grown on the company’s Finca Natalie farm in Estelí, Nicaragua. Perdomo says the mineral-rich volcanic soil created the perfect environment for cultivating a rich, flavorful tobacco that delivers a unique balance of strength, sweetness and spice. (Half Wheel)

“The Perdomo Legacy Nicaraguan Shade-Grown is a medium to full-bodied blend featuring rare, reddish-brown Nicaraguan Shade-Grown wrappers, which are bale-aged for 10 years and then carefully aged in bourbon barrels for a minimum of 10 months. Each cigar is expertly crafted with the finest Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binders and fillers from the Perdomo family's most prestigious farms in Estelí, Condega, and the famed Jalapa Valley. The result is a beautiful Nicaraguan “puro” with rich, complex smoke, well-balanced spice, and subtle hints of oak on the finish.” (Perdomo)
